Carla E. Connor graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Scranton in 1985 with degrees in English and Philosophy. She was a member of the Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program and was awarded the Joseph B. Cullather Award for Excellence in English. Ms. Connor received her Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law, graduating in the top twenty percent of her class, in 1988.

Ms. Connor was a partner in a Montgomery County law firm where she gained years of experience litigating insurance defense, personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability and workers’ compensation matters. She also has experience handling construction defect cases, contract and insurance policy interpretation, declaratory judgment actions and defense and indemnity issues. Ms. Connor has been admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar since 1988.  She is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Christina L. Pitchford graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2005.  Mrs. Pitchford received her Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law, graduating in the top third of her class. While attending law school, Mrs. Pitchford was chosen to join Villanova’s National Trial Competition Team.
After graduating from law school, Mrs. Pitchford joined an insurance defense firm in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, where she focused her practice on general casualty liability matters including slip and falls, automobile accidents and construction litigation.  Mrs. Pitchford has also developed extensive experience in providing coverage opinions and filing declaratory judgment actions, particularly concerning additional insured status and indemnification and defense provisions.  Mrs. Pitchford is also proficient handling both simple and complex subrogation claims.
Mrs. Pitchford is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars.  Mrs. Pitchford is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Timothy M. O’Neill obtained his B.A. from Princeton University in 2008. Mr. O’Neill attended Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he was honored for Outstanding Oral Advocacy in the Trial Advocacy program. Following his graduation in 2012, Mr. O’Neill joined an insurance defense law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he gained years of experience in motor vehicle accident litigation. Mr. O’Neill has personally litigated over 300 arbitrations and has secured successful verdicts for his clients in Philadelphia, Delaware County, Montgomery County and throughout New Jersey. More recently, Mr. O’Neill joined an insurance defense law firm in Montgomery County, working primarily in first party property claims, bad faith litigation, motor vehicle accident litigation, personal injury litigation and insurance policy interpretation. Mr. O’Neill is a member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars.

For over 19 years Ann has represented and provided legal counsel to insureds, insurance companies, and self-insured entities in all general liability matters including premises liability, motor vehicle liability, products liability, construction liability, and subrogation.
Ann received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law.  Ann is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining the firm, Ann practiced with a large insurance defense firm in Philadelphia representing clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  She is lifelong resident of Philadelphia and enjoys swimming, hiking, and reading.

Melissa K. Kaufman, Esquire

Melissa K. Kaufman obtained her bachelor of business administration with distinction from Emory University and her Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law.  While in law school, Ms. Kaufman completed full-time internships at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, and a large insurance defense firm in Philadelphia.

Ms. Kaufman has over 17 years of experience handling all stages of litigation from inception through completion in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including appearances at depositions, arbitrations, court-mandated conferences, and trial through verdict.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kaufman was the managing attorney of an auto insurance company’s house counsel firm where she represented clients in bodily injury and property damage suits.  She also worked for a large insurance defense firm representing clients in commercial motor vehicle, premises liability, and products liability cases.

Craig A. Briggs earned his B.S. in Finance with an emphasis in Economics from Penn State University in 1989 and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1995. He has more than 25 years of experience as an insurance defense litigator, representing individuals and businesses in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Mr. Briggs is experienced in all stages of civil litigation, from case inception through resolution, including trial, arbitration, mediation, and settlement. His areas of practice include premises liability, defense of catastrophic personal injury claims, motor vehicle litigation, commercial disputes, construction defects, and Dram Shop liability.

Joseph J. McAlee graduated from Villanova University in 1985 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 1988, where he received a Distinguished Classroom Performance Award  for Trial Advocacy. He returned to Temple University and received his LL.M. in Taxation in 2008.

Mr. McAlee has represented insured and self-insureds throughout his career from pre-litigation through discovery, trial, and on appeal. His areas of practice include, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, commercial litigation, construction accidents, employment law, and railroad litigation. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
